1. a thorough understanding of the Rules for the Use of Force in general in accordance with international law and the law of the flag state.
2. competent handling of the weapon system safely and competently by day and night. The competencies for weapon handling include;
Normal Safety Procedures, Load, Unload, Make Safe, Firing Drills and Stoppage Drills.
3. the ability to fire the weapon from the standing, kneeling, sitting, and prone positions in a maritime environment
including firing from an elevated position. DI SHIVERS achieved a level of accuracy as follows;
at a range of 300m with a margin of error less than 0.5 metres and at a range of 100m with a margin of error of less than 0.1metres.
4. familiarity with and competence with the implementation of Rules for Use of Force.
Other
Shivers is smart, focused and dedicated yet she does not like being told what to do. Soon after being assigned the position as lead of the FSD she realised it wouldn't be long before her devious and corrupt police supervisors and colleagues would try to shut it down. But that's not the only problem she can't control.
